Zoe Runcorn - Zoe Runcorn

My name is Zoe Runcorn.

In 2010 I graduated from The University of Wales, Lampeter with an English with Creative Writing BA and am currently preparing to leave England at the end of August to teach English in Japan, as well as writing my own fictional works.

I love to read, mainly the horror, fantasy and science fiction genres. I've read all of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, a lot of Richard Laymon's work, and most recently I've been working my way through Peter Hamilton's novels. I have also read a lot of classics, including The Lord of the Rings, The Woman in White, Lady Audley's Secret, Lady Chatterley's Lover, Wuthering Heights, Dracula, Frankenstein, Bleak House, East Lynne and many of Shakespeare's plays. I also collect manga, including the Manga Shakespeare series.

My articles will mainly consist of film and local theatre reviews, however I may branch into other subjects in the future. As well as film, theatre and books. If you enjoy fictional works, then I can also be found on the Protagonize website as ZoeER. I also enjoy ballroom and latin dancing, and recently started learning bronze level dances. I've also taken up fencing, something I started at university, at the Chelmsford and Anglia Ruskin University Fencing Club. Most recently I have attained Grade 1 in Fencing.

I live in Chelmsford, and have lived here all of my life, aside from the four years I spent at university, however I am going to be living in Japan soon.
